Step into the store this Thursday to sample some tasty treats with us. Alexis Berra from Grand Vin has some unique wines to share, so join us as we sample Trimbach Riesling, Santa Julia Torrontes, Austin Hope “Troublemaker” and Souverain Cabernet Sauvignon!

Thursday April 12th, 4PM to 7PM, we are tasting four great northern Italian wines from the Varaldo family of Barbaresco! Andrew Birkholz from Ciao Vino Selections will be here to give us the skinny on these awesome wines!

Saturday, March 31st. Tonight we are conducting an experiment. At 4pm we will begin tasting 3 wines with the labels obscured, a blind tasting! All 3 wines will be the same price, from recognizable regions and in a “classic style”. We will have the tasting sheets used by the Court of Master Sommeliers to evaluate the wines on our own. If you try and like, you can buy the wines #1,2,3 and we will bag them and send them with you, not until you get home will you know what you have purchased. The wines will not be revealed tonight but rather on the website and through our e-mail list on Sunday! No labels no pretense, just our pallets and like or don’t like!

Come visit us this week and try a few wines new to our store. This Thursday Sissy Strope from RNDC will in to sample Cavit Lunetta Rose, Claiborne & Churchill Dry Gewurztraminer, Salentin Killka Malbec, and David Bruce Petite Syrah. Saturday Eric Newman of Oasis will be on hand to taste us on some fun new juice! We will be trying Torre Oria Cava, Domaine de Lanzac Tavel Rose, Chateau Pecot Tentation, and Zaccagnini Lacrima di Morro d’Alba. As always, 10% off the featured wines during the tasting. The beautiful spring like days we had this past week had me thinking of fun white wines for porches and BBQ’s. This is Colorado, and as quickly as the sun and warmth arrived, it left, and we are back to winter wind and cold! Fortunately there are still several days left of mountain turns and heart-warming big red wines! Tonight Chris Borgman of CTS Distributing joins our group to taste recent additions to our shop!
